 Children come first at Family Connection !! 

"Children who have a connection with a caring adult, share feelings with them and feel loved and understood, will have higher self-esteem, higher success rates and a lower chance of violence." William Pollack, Harvard Medical School.

However, children who no longer live with a parent due to divorce, separation or child abuse allegations may not have these opportunities. Family Connection, a supervised visitation center, provides a safe, conflict-free location where families can visit; either to initiate a relationship or to enhance and continue a positive relationship.

Connection is Miami County's Supervised Visitation Center. Located in downtown Troy, Family Connection's vision is to "nurture and promote healthy and positive family relationships through regular and consistent visitation".

Before services begin, both parties must complete an orientation at the facility (scheduled separately). This is an hour long interview-type meeting where family members can become more familiar with the facility, and staff can gather family history and determine court ordered visitation needs. There are service fees involved. Please call 339-4447 for more information or to schedule an orientation.
